Inspired by Phil McAndrew’s tips and Victor Negreiro‘s illustrations, I drew this gorgeous girl in my sketchbook. Plus size models are my favorite kind of woman… And honestly, I can tell you that my body has this shape too. Not fatty, but I have large hip. There are skinny girls and healthy women everywhere on media; what about a little of what we really see on real world? Ok, I bet you want to ask me if I like girls… Dude, I love everything beautiful, that’s it!
This is a watercolor (the paint set) and ball point pen drawing, by the way.

Hello, there! Just stopping to share some sketches, doodles and ideas I had in my free times. Nothing great, just rough sketches, but… well… people told me they like when I do this kind of stuff!
Everybody likes zombies… Well, not me. Not so much… That’s me, “zombined”. And I even drawn my belly… hehe!

A cute elephant… A dinosaur in love… Spock and Dexter… By the way, 19th January was Dexter’s birthday! Oh, boy… My baby is 2 years old already??? Kids grow fast, eh?

What can I say about this one? Well… I like japanese girls. Specially their eyes. Actually, I love drawing eyes. And, as you may notice, I love my felt markers too!

First of all: happy new year!
This is the first sketch of 2011 I drew today. Just a mindless drawing in my sketchbook, using colored pencil and a red felt marker. Sorry for the lack of posts, but I’m working a lot. It seems that it will be a great year for me! Hope so!

I know, I know… I am becoming the queen of unfinished works, but this one is very special. I did it hours ago and for some reason I can’t stop looking at this woman’s face. As you can see, I can’t finish the other parts of this drawing either. Oh, no… I don’t even know this woman; she’s just my creation, without references.
Should it be her eyes? Well, they’re very expressive, indeed. Must be. Or, the red color? Hmmmm… I don’t know. What do you think? Anyway, this is a doodle I did in my sketchbook using colored pencils. That’s a very useful material; better than graphite pencils, I believe. Would you like to see this artwork finished? Oh, me too… me too… I will try to avoid her hypnotic look, and let you know about the final version very soon.
Speaking about works in progress: the “Do You Want Some Coffee?” tiny painting is almost done. I stopped because I’m working in a commission for one of my Facebook friends, a great guy from UK, very patient too – that’s the first time I’m doing a painting commission in a large canvas. And, speaking about Facebook… I have a Fan Page now!!! If you like my stuff, follow me! I don’t like to bother people sending newsletters or email them about my little business. Rather prefer using this sort of thing, you know.
Okay, time to go. Dexter and Spock are too quiet. I really don’t like it… Hugs!

Okay, this is not really a Moleskine… Not the original one. But *finally*, a brazilian company, called Tilibra is making sketchbooks and notebooks exactly like the Moleskines. It’s cool, because now I can buy a nice book for a good price, without waiting for the postman. I’ve been planning to have one for months. Surprisely while walking to the supermarket, I saw it in a store! I couldn’t think twice and bought it!
So, let me share some of my doodles… That one above is one of my studies of men’s body. I love black guys, they’re gorgeous and hot as hell! Of course I like all kind of men; my husband is blonde, by the way. But black guys’ bodies are perfect! And, also, I love dreadlocks.

Watercolor and ball point pen are really cool. They’re my favourite materials ever! For sketches and practicing, I use my paint set, not the tube paints. But they look fine, don’t they? I’m thinking about working more on these doodles, add more art, scanning in a high quality and make prints of them… Do you like this idea? Please, let me know.

I need to draw more… to paint more… and blog more as well. I think my drawings aren’t so good yet. There are always something wrong: anatomy, painting technique… etc. Well, I’m still 27; I have time to get better.
That’s all, folks. Stay tuned for more sketches and cool creations. Have a nice week!

Instead of doodling in my sketchbook, I’m doing that in a blank (not anymore, as you can see) paper that supposed to be for notes. But, you know what? It’s so cool! From now on, that’s what I’m going to do… Always have a blank paper near from me. The best part: mindlessly some work is done. XD
You’re going to see some of those doodles as illustrations really soon!

This is Eloise, a stylish character created by Kate Gabrielle. She’s an artist who I follow on Twitter (@flapperdoodle and @KateGabrielle).
When I was doodling in my sketchbook, for some reason I remembered her and did this drawing. Anyway, that’s the way I imagine Eloise.
PS.: I hope you like, Kate!

I hate waiting at the doctor’s office… I really do. Don’t you? So, I hate also being sick, because I know I have to see my doc. Well, there’s no problem with my doctor; the problem is spend hours sitting in a chair… waiting. And, the worst part of it? I was the last patience! Then, this impatient patience had to sketch a lot. This drawing above (colours are digital) is my favorite of them!
Reading this, you may ask: Tati, are you sick? Hmmmm… Not sick, in terms. I have been suffering from high cholesterol and triglycerides levels for a couple of years, and lately I’m feeling heartburns (funny word… it has nothing to do with my heart). But don’t worry, everything is fine now. My levels are normal, it’s not gastritis as I thought, I’m on a diet, taking medicines and doing exercises.

My husband loves games, and he got himself an Xbox 360. He plays a lot of games, my favorite is Mirror’s Edge. No… I don’t play, but I love watching Nando playing, and also games visual, concept art, etc. Hmmm… I think I will give it a try… Someday. ![]()
That’s Faith, Mirror’s Edge main character. I love her style, clothes and oriental face (I can’t forget to mention the theme song – video below). Cool, eh?
