Do You Want Some Coffee?

A interface do Inkscape me lembra a do Corel Draw. Na verdade, parece que a galera open-source colocou as melhores configurações dos programas mais conhecidos nele! E, a melhor parte: é PERFEITO pro usuário final! Rápido, simples, intuitivo… ADORO!
Sobre usar profissionalmente… Bom, por que não?

Essa é a pintura do Do You Want Some Coffee?… Desisti de finalizar essa peça. Vou apenas ajeitar algumas coisinhas, e pendurar na parede do meu estúdio.

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

New designs coming soon.

This is a sketch I did on a Mac app called SketchBookExpress, using my tablet. Pretty cool, eh?

4th May was my birthday… Yes, I know: it’s 24th June today; too late for speaking about that. Sorry for not posting anything that day. Actually my b-day wasn’t awesome, but I celebrated it in a good way. Anyway-ay-ay-ay… I am 28 years OLD now! Almost feeling the 30′s crisis. Oh, boy… Can you believe that? I’m 28! o_O’
So, I’d like to share something that reminds my youth. That’s a ridiculous comic I did when I was about 14. Look the title: Star Rainbow! Oh, that’s so embarrassing! I’m very ashamed for that, but, you know… I was just an innocent teenage dreamer. That was the first issue, and I had plans of sending it to a publishing house… Really.
I’ve found it in a file that I keep all the old drawings. When I read that, I had the most “LOLing” time ever! The story is SO crappy… A kind of Sailor Moon copy. And that time I was completely addicted to reading my high school english books. Everything I needed, I had an english-portuguese dictionary… All characters had non-brazilian names and surnames: Peter, Aaron, Sany, O’Hara… The funniest part is that they all live in San Diego, but not the californian city… It was a fictitious San Diego; a city that only existed in my head! A place where everyone is caucasian and has foreign names, but speak brazilian portuguese. Oh, wait! I mean: they speak brazilian portuguese with Potiguar slangs (Potiguar: from RN)! Star Rainbow is such a super heroine who fights against whatever evil, using her colorful power. Her father is a policeman, but doesn’t know anything about her hero-side… blablabla blablabla…
On second thoughts, I’m glad to be 28.
Things are changing in my life. I had some bad moments that made me feel depressive. That’s why you haven’t seen me online all the time. Thanks to my psychologist, now I can organize my stuff and only care about what’s good to me – and DO what I WANT. I am living the offline life a bit more… Watching TV, films and Animes, reading, sketching, cleaning home, walking, cooking, working and – again – trying to go to the university next year. The song above is the new anthem of my life: I Wanna Live, by Tesla!
What I want and what I need
is everything that I’m supposed to be
I have my hopes, I’ve got my dreams
I had to fight for what is right for me
And other things that I expect
I take them all and I have no regrets
Life’s too short, there’s no rain check
Just one shot at it is all you get
I wanna live before I die
Don’t want the world to pass me by
I wanna live, I wanna live before I die
You tell me this, you tell me that
They wrote the rules but that ain’t where it’s at
They only dare to tell me lies
And do I listen? I don’t even try
And life’s an act, the worlds a stage
I’m like an animal outta my cage
I’m runnin’ wild, I’m runnin’ free
Just one shot at it is all we need
I wanna live before I die
Don’t want the world to pass me by
There’s so much more I wanna try
I wanna live
I wanna live before I die
Don’t want the world to pass me by
I wanna live, I wanna live before I die
I can’t wait around, I just can’t waste my time
I don’t care if you think that I’m outta my mind
I wanna live before I die
Don’t want the world to pass me by
There’s so much more I wanna try
I wanna live
I wanna live before I die
Don’t want the world to pass me by
I wanna live, I wanna live, I wanna live
I wanna live before I die
Don’t want the world to pass me by
I wanna live, I wanna live before I die

10th June was the Etsy Craft Party! I thought a lot about what to do… Live drawing? A painting? Well, actually I missed this event, even waiting that so much since the beginning of this month. Hmmmm… I’m not good at remembering dates. What day is today? Anyway… It’s better I use Google Calendar more often!
But… Hey! I did something! Finally painted the ACEO drawings I posted months ago! So, nobody can say I didn’t have my Craft Party!

Inspired by Phil McAndrew’s tips and Victor Negreiro‘s illustrations, I drew this gorgeous girl in my sketchbook. Plus size models are my favorite kind of woman… And honestly, I can tell you that my body has this shape too. Not fatty, but I have large hip. There are skinny girls and healthy women everywhere on media; what about a little of what we really see on real world? Ok, I bet you want to ask me if I like girls… Dude, I love everything beautiful, that’s it!
This is a watercolor (the paint set) and ball point pen drawing, by the way.

I think my illustrations are having finally a Tati personality! This “ink plus digital colors” technique is really cool. I like it! And you? Simple, but there’s something… emmm… classy.
Daisy is not someone I know. She came from my mind. The best part of being creative is that I am a kind of God of my own world. A colored and weird world, actually. Where everything is possible and easier… No problems at all! Hahahaha!
Well… Back to the real world.
